Importing and Exporting SysEx

Sending SysEx data directly to or from your Zendrum© from within Zendrum Studio is the most direct way, however you can also save and load SysEx files from your computer's file system. You may want to do this for archiving purposes, or if you are working offline without access to your Zendrum for instance.

Exporting SysEx data to a file

  1. Make your desired changes to your Zendrum Studio project.
  2. Select File -> Export SysEx and select a location and file name.
SysEx exporting is not available within the trial edition of Zendrum Studio

Importing SysEx data from a file into your Zendrum Studio project

  1. Create a new project or open an existing one in Zendrum Studio
  2. Select File -> Import SysEx and select your SysEx file.

As stated above, you can also directly transmit and receive SysEx directly from your Zendrum, bypassing the file system.
